Pete & The Pirates
It is all too easy to joke about parrots on shoulders and wooden legs with a band name like Pete & The Pirates, although that would not downgrade their music at all. Because even looking at (or listening to) this band with an eye patch you would notice their fantastic performance: like at the Eurosonic Festival this year. At home, these gentlemen were quickly embraced by the big music magazine NME ánd by BBC Radio 1. You definitely may say this band does a very good job. A gig by Pete & The Pirates is just a lot of fun! Need we say more?
