One day, singer/rapper Pete Philly, exponent of the Amsterdam multicultural melting pot, coincidentally ran into cellist/ producer Perquisite, experimenting with everything ranging from classical music to jazz, broken beats and hip hop. They found each other in their quest to widen the boundaries of the hip hop genre. Their mission: bringing analog sound back in times of plastic.
